What I refer to as “awakened embodiment.”
Rune Acupuncture symbolizes the journey through the darkness we all eventually experience when the unknown reveals itself as well as the rebirth that is possible on the other side when you summon the courage to let it transform you.
Rune was born out of a chapter in my life where I had no choice but to start over–to surrender to the tides of change and plunge into the unknown.
A shade of death, a sudden severance invited me to leave everything I knew and thought I was behind in order to find out what I was truly made of & capable of creating on the other side.
Although it was one of the darkest periods of my life that both haunted and shook me to my core, it catalyzed a healing journey where, in the dark, I found myself again.
What I eventually realized was that the darkness was a fertile void where I would not only reclaim the parts of me that were lost or willfully suppressed - but awaken to new whispers of potential that needed tending so I could bloom in the ways I yearned to.
My journey, and all I learned along the way, is the essence imbued into all you see here; its lessons and wisdom woven into all you experience when we gather so you, too, can return to yourself in the ways you desire - perhaps ways you didn’t even know you needed…
I believe we all have the capacity to allow the darkness to transform us - to let life’s liminal stages guide us to discover our own power, wisdom, and magic.
I also believe we all have the inner strength to hold onto the wheel of life as it turns through stages of blossoming, withering, death, and resurrection. With each evolution, we become more resilient to change & trust ourselves enough to know when it is time to choose a new path rather than cling to what is familiar yet corrosive or simply not aligned any longer.
Because the truth is, it's not a matter of if the unknown comes knocking, but when…and when it does, what will you choose?

Clarity
In this realm of care, I believe that understanding the origin stories, “the whys,” behind a condition’s emergence is just as essential as the “the hows,” or ways to address it. By reflecting on the messages transmitted through your struggles, you give yourself the opportunity to discover an archive of wisdom once hidden: the language of your body. When you begin awakening to these messages, you begin reclaiming trust in your body’s capacity to heal itself. When you understand how your body responds in times of distress, you can also proactively tend to it in times of harmony. It is my privilege to help you harness this knowledge & ability so you can confidently navigate your healing process with clarity.
Crafted
Rather than protocols and uniform prescriptions, each session is a dynamic experience that builds on one another to facilitate awakening shifts in your psyche, body, and spirit. More so, your care is crafted with a plan of action that takes the nuances of your story and essence into account. In addition to Acupuncture, a variety of complementary therapies can be woven into your treatments as needed to create a foundation for sustainable progress. The result is restorative care that nurtures the micro-and-macrocosmic facets of your being: the tapestry of your daily life and soul’s journey.
Depth
At Rune, your care is approached with respect for the depth of your being which means looking beyond a label or diagnosis to discern the culprits to your concerns. In doing so, you will be invited to gaze into the abyss of possibilities for their potential physical and metaphysical root causes. While your lifestyle, diet, environment, and medical history are key considerations –your trauma, trapped emotions, harbored conflicts, quality of your relationships, perspectives (and more) are too. Exploring these undercurrents to illuminate the messages stirring beneath the surface is crucial to our craft.
Transparency
Transparency is a non-negotiable core value I see as an extension of integrity through open communication. It is something I hold myself accountable to because creating trusting relationships is the heart of my work. At Rune, this translates to how candid and meticulously thorough I am when discussing: informed consent, factors influencing your health, your treatment plan, the intentions behind my approach, Acupuncture points selected, my confidence in being able to help you (or if not, I have a stellar network of providers I will refer you to), the investment, as well as how we can cultivate progress beyond our shared time together. Likewise, I invite your questions without hesitation as well as anything you value being known so I can create the most supportive atmosphere for your care.
Sovereignty
Something I love most about my work is its capacity to empower you to form an alliance with your body rather than constantly living in conflict with it. If your trust that it can work "for" you is fraying, I am here to reassure it can because your body is speaking to you all the time. When you can go within and listen to what it needs, you start to realize there is another possibility: one where you no longer outsource your intuition, resources, or power to a system that relies on substances designed to body’s sever the connection further — only to chemically manage symptoms on the surface level vs. the depth of their creation.
